Overall Objectives

  1. Review and evaluate the latest clinical and basic science advances in transplantation science, medicine and surgery.
  2. Investigate recent developments in transplant biology, immunology and organ preservation.
  3. Examine the broad but critical issues in transplantation, including social and policy issues.

Accreditation

Participants must complete an attendance/evaluation form in order to receive a certificate of completion/attendance. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available.

To obtain your certificate, simply go online to www.atccertificate.com after the Congress, complete the attendance/evaluation form and print your certificate. In addition, your certificate will be emailed to you. This online evaluation system will be available at the end of the day Wednesday, May 5, 2010 through June 30, 2010. After that date, certificates will no longer be available.

Physicians

The American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA PRA Statement

The ASTS designates this educational activity for a maximum of 37.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Transplant Coordinators

Category 1 Continuing Education Points for Transplant Coordinators (CEPTCs) have been applied for through the American Board for Transplant Certification (ABTC).
