What are the dates of ATC 2024?

The American Transplant Congress will take place on June 1 – 5, 2024 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, USA.

Is there a hybrid component of ATC?

For those attendees unable to join us in Philadelphia, the general sessions and other programming will be available on-demand after the 2024 event.

Will speakers and moderators be in-person?

All ATC Speakers and Moderators will present in-person in Philadelphia, PA.

Are there health and safety protocols for ATC 2024?

The health and safety of all ATC participants and staff, along with their family members, co-workers, and patients, continues to remain our top priority. At ATC 2024, hand sanitization stations will be provided throughout the convention center.

Will there be a reduced registration fee for AST and ASTS members?

Yes, ATC offers reduced registration fees to ASTS or ASTS members. 2024 Society Membership dues must be paid by May 31, 2024 to qualify for the member rate. New member applications are subject to additional processing time following payment.

Can I book my hotel through a third party provider?

onPeak is the only hotel provider endorsed by American Transplant Congress 2024. If you are contacted by other third-party companies offering hotel assistance, please be aware they are not endorsed by our event. Entering into financial agreements with these companies can have costly consequences and are not protected by event management.

When do I need to book my hotel by?

To get discounted rates at ATC's selection of Philadelphia hotels, the deadline is Friday, May 3, 2024. Hotel rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Abstract Submission

When is the deadline to submit an abstract?

The Call for Abstracts closed on December 18, 2023. Status notifications were sent in February 2024. For questions about your abstract, please contact

Will there be a Late-Breaking Abstract submission period?

Yes, ATC has a Late Breaking Abstract submission period. Late breaking abstract submission closed on February 9, 2024.

Late Breaking Abstract Submission Policy:

Abstracts submitted during the late-breaking time, January 12 - February 9, 2024, will only be considered if the data / analysis were NOT available before the ATC original abstract submission deadline date of December 18, 2023. There are no exceptions. There will be very limited slots for late breaking presentations. Please include a brief justification (on the Questionnaire submission page) why this should be considered a "late breaking abstract".

I submitted my abstract to another meeting. Can I still submit to ATC?

Abstracts will be considered for presentation if they have NOT been previously published as an article at the TIME OF SUBMISSION.

Abstract Guidelines

Is there a fee to submit an abstract?

Yes, ATC has the following abstract submission fees for each abstract submission:

  • $25 for current AST and ASTS members (first OR last author)
  • $50 for non-members
Instructions on How to Receive the ASTS / AST Member Fee:
  1. You must log in to the ATC Program User Portal with the email associated with the first or last authors membership account.
  2. Once you have logged in you will have the option to change the presenting author.
  3. Please note, the presenting author will be listed as the primary author and will receive all abstract communications.

When will abstract status notifications be sent?

Original Abstract Submission Notifications will be sent in February 2024 and Late-Breaking Abstract Submission Notifications will be sent in March 2024.

Proposal Submission

When will proposal status notifications be sent?

Call for Programs status notifications were sent in October 2023.

What time zone is the Scientific Program?

The 2024 American Transplant Congress will take place in Philadelphia, PA. Therefore, the program schedule is built in the Eastern Time Zone.

Education Credits

Will ATC provide the same types of education credits as in past?

Yes, ATC will provide credits / contact hours of the following education credit types:

  • ACPE
  • ANCC
